Dear Fellow Believers and Warriors in Christ,
It is clear in order to move to the next level the issues of the heart and mind must be examined and addressed. Whatever is in the heart affects character, behavior, mindset, emotions, reputation and spiritual growth. The word of God reads ...For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he Proverbs 23:7 and ....a wise man's heart discerneth both time and judgement Ecclesiastes 8:5. For to be carnally minded is death: but to be spiritually minded is life and peace Romans 8:6. What does it mean to possess a spiritual mind? How do we get there? What is expected of us when we reach this goal?
Spiritual Mind
To have life is to rest in the arms of Jesus our Lord. Resting in Him demonstrates trust and soundness of mind. This does not mean there will never be opposition. Each awakening day brings new challenges. Without them it is impossible to mature. When the heart pleases the Father, the mind will respond transmitting Godly instruction to handle ungodly challenges. A transformed heart nourishes a healthy mind which ignites holy character. Just to name a few benefits for obtaining a spiritual mind:
- Pleasing our Father in heaven
- God's Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit....
- Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray....
Only a transformed heart and mind can discern how to pray in spirit and in truth in order to communicate with the Father in accordance to His will. And I will give them an heart to know me, that I am the Lord: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart. Jeremiah 24:7
When the mind is yielded to the will of God it can discern the purpose of God. "..be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the revewing of your mind that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." Romans 12:2
How To Get There
In order to develop a spiritual mind key factors must occur. A desire and willingness to obey instruction from God. To realize it is only through him can help be obtained. Have a yielded heart toward discipline and humility. This is achieved through confession, repentance, prayer, worship, and biblical study. The past must stay in the past. Crave a new appetite to excel into the future for the kingdom of God and his purpose, which must now become an essential passion in the heart. Godly character and integrity are enhanced when words spoken are few yet full of wisdom and prophetic affirmations which please God. Confession and forgiveness reside within and are now demonstrated to others in brotherly love.
Expectation when changed
- I Corinthians 13 - Charity suffereth long, is kind; envieth not; vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, does not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil, rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
- When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I matured, I stopped demonstrating childish ways.

awaiting impartation to shift you to a level of destiny that will astound you!
